"Opened today minutes from their Lincolnwood home, Phil Stefani — along with wife Karen and children Anthony and Gina — launched Stefani Prime as a restaurant that aims to bring a Chicago-worthy dining experience to the suburbs, blending Phil Stefani’s old-school experience with the new energy his children have shown at Bar Cargo and MAD Social. Chef Nolan Narut, formerly of David Burke’s Primehouse, leads a menu of steaks, seafood, and Italian-American classics, including a 36-ounce bone-in tomahawk ribeye, seared ahi, a seafood tower of raw items, short-rib raviolocci, and chicken Vesuvio. The main dining room seats 90, the bar area 80, there are two private event spaces (supporting Karen Stefani’s catering business), and a 60-seat patio that will open later this spring. The restaurant stands where Kow Kow operated for 65 years, and hours are listed as 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday–Thursday, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday–Saturday, and 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday." - Ashok Selvam
