"The Outrage, a female-founded shop on 14th Street NW, is opening a membership-driven cafe, bar, and community space in the back of its building by the end of April. Known for its apparel supporting various resistance movements, the store is a popular gathering spot before marches on the National Mall. The new 100-seat space will offer a safe environment to discuss issues like climate change and wage disparities. It will serve self-serve coffee and tea during the day and transform into a bar at night, featuring local female and minority-owned alcohol brands. The space will also host events like Feminism Fridays and political panels, with portions of sales going to causes such as Planned Parenthood and the ACLU." - Tierney Plumb
