"Wine bar Tippling House takes its burger seriously. Chef Micah Pearson sears the double patties on the flattop grill and tops them with sliced onion, American cheese, and special sauce. He also slides a few pickled peppers under the meat for an acid punch. The burger comes with fries, but don’t skip Pearson’s other veg-heavy creations. Ask one of the sommeliers which wine to go with the cheeseburger — it could be Champagne or a high-acid rosé, depending on your mood.
