"I'm looking forward to the Taco Stand, set to open at 2018 North Shepherd Drive later this fall; it will offer both dine-in service and a drive-thru and will sling tacos, burritos and frozen drinks like margs. Renderings show a menu painted on an outdoor wall with offerings such as lengua, chicharron, campechano and carnitas served on freshly made tortillas, and the restaurant will make five different salsas daily along with an all-day menu of breakfast tacos. Chef Mathew Pak said his love of traditional Mexican food inspired him to get into the taco business, and he researched the menu by traveling to Mexico City and Los Angeles last year.
