"Since the early 1900s, the Wachsmuth family has run this Ankeny seafood restaurant, selling raw oysters, oyster stew, and shellfish cocktail in a space covered in family photos and antiques. The menu has grown since its early days, now encompassing po’boys, gumbo, steamed mussels, and cioppino, served alongside beers and cocktails from the restaurant’s bar.
