The Perch to Reopen After Last Week’s Fire in Wicker Park | Eater Chicago

"After a mechanical fire erupted on the roof during dinner service on Sunday, November 26, I was relieved to learn the Perch, a Wicker Park brewpub that debuted in 2020 as a collaboration between 4 Star and Finch Beer Co. and is known for its wood-fired items, will reopen at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6. No one was hurt when flames broke out nine days ago; ownership (4 Star Restaurant Group) says the fire damaged the hood system and the roof and that they've been working nonstop to reopen. They praised the staff and manager Sean Cusick for evacuating every guest and team member safely, thanked the local fire department for its quick response, and will donate proceeds from beer sales to the two stations that helped mitigate the damage." - Ashok Selvam
