"After opening its first Chicago location last month, I note the chain’s second Chicago restaurant opened Monday, March 19 at 204 W. Lake Street in the Loop. The West Coast chain — the country’s largest vegetarian chain and now its 30th location — serves items like the Beyond Burger, veggie Buffalo-style “chicken” tenders, salads and other seasonal dishes; for the opening it debuted a Nashville-style hot Chickin’ sandwich. The menu changes seasonally, the Loop spot seats about 30 inside a 2,300-square-foot space, and I expect it to be a boon for office workers fed up with the same old meat-centric fast-food options.
