"Opening this summer in the heart of the City, this new outlet will be the brand’s first morning-oriented London site, opening at 7am to capture weekday financial-district footfall. The launch will introduce the chain’s first U.K. breakfast menu — curated by the brand’s culinary director — built around classic fast-food-inspired sandwiches: sausage, egg n’ cheese; bacon, egg n’ cheese; and egg n’ cheese. Each sandwich features griddled eggs and American cheese on the toasted Martin’s potato roll, with free-range sausage from Jimmy’s Farm and Wiltshire-cured bacon from Aubrey Allen butchers. The roll-and-filling approach is purposely familiar (in the spirit of an egg McMuffin), and past morning-service praise from critics bolsters expectations.
