"I found Canal Lounge floating on the Lachine Canal at the Atwater quay next to the Atwater Market in St-Henri/Little Burgundy, and it's Montreal’s most nautical summer drinking option; it's a fairly civilized alternative to Old Port party boats — you can sink into seats and banquettes inside the boat, and because it closes by 11 p.m. most nights it never feels rowdy. The spot reads more like a neighbourhood watering hole on the water than a craft-beer or fancy-cocktail nook: tap beers run $6, the sangria-adjacent tinto de verano is $5 a glass, and a range of mostly classic cocktails come in under $10. The season runs through October, and it's open at the Atwater quay from 3 to 11 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday and until 10 p.m. on Sunday." - Tim Forster
