"Spearheaded by the acclaimed Charlie Palmer, this new hotel rooftop sushi and cocktail bar opened on Tuesday, April 22 inside the Times Square hotel the Knickerbocker at 6 Times Square, at 42nd Street. Chef Taishi Yamaguchi (who previously worked at places like Katsuya, Aman, and En Brasserie) is leading the kitchen; he’ll make dishes like grilled oysters with scallion relish and seaweed chiffonade; Australian wagyu tataki hand rolls with caviar and a wasabi aioli; and yuzu-cured scallops. The restaurant features 33 seats, which includes a 13-seat hand roll bar. The drinks menu features sakes, beers, and cocktails like the Sakura Spirtz with a cherry blossom liqueur, shochu, and prosecco.
