"Opening Oct. 27 at 1009 Poydras Street, I report that Vintage Rock Club will be an adult-oriented, throwback yet high-end entertainment venue taking over the Rampart Room above Walk-On’s. The spot features a custom automated Jell-O shot machine and a menu that playfully mixes kid-flavored nostalgia with luxury — Chef Michael Brewer will serve a fancy peanut butter and jelly alongside caviar — and drink offerings include cocktails like the tequila-based 'Highway to Hell.' Inside, expect flashing big-screen televisions showing movies, music videos, and commercials and a deliberately indifferent, unapologetic interior that bravely mixes colors and patterns.
