"Susheria, formerly known as Maté, is a long-running Georgetown restaurant that has been revamped with a new menu and a "casual glam" attitude by D.C. restaurateur Mauricio Fraga-Rosenfeld. The restaurant is designed to be an all-day hangout where people can work during the day, enjoy coffee, have dinner, and leave by midnight. The design features velvet seating and chandeliers, with a view of the Georgetown Waterfront Park. The menu, crafted with Peruvian consulting chef Javier Angeles-Beron, includes traditional Peruvian ceviche, Kamameshi rice bowls, and creative sushi rolls like the Peruvian Lomo Saltado roll and Pollo a la Brasa roll. Sake will soon be available on draft." - Adele Chapin
