Canadian Export Moxie’s Grill & Bar Debuts in Brickell Next Month | Eater Miami

"Heading to Mary Brickell Village in early February, Moxie's Grill & Bar will open below longstanding Blue Martini at 900 South Miami Avenue. The well-known Canadian chain, which boasts about 60 locations in Canada and three in Texas, is best described as an upscale sports bar and restaurant: the Miami location will feature more than 20 TVs focused around a large central bar, an interior outfitted with wood and marble accents, and a wraparound outdoor patio that seats 150 and wraps around a longstanding Banyan tree, with a section that can be closed off for private groups. The massive, "globally inspired" menu includes classic Canadian poutine, sushi cones, a one-pound serving of cheese nachos, salads, burgers, a variety of steaks, mains like mahi mahi and baby back ribs, and sandwiches such as French dips; on weekends guests can dine on brunch items like salmon and avocado bagels, huvos rancheros, French toast, and a brunch burger. An extensive drink menu ranges from Moscow mules and gin and tonics to eight different margarita variations, plus a large selection of draft and bottled beers, wines, juices, and coffees, and there will be a weekday happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. with $5 wines, $8 cocktails, and $6–$8 bites." - Olee Fowler
