"Gurst is a new American restaurant set to open in Avondale at 3661 N. Elston Avenue, replacing Little Bucharest Bistro. Owned by Phillip Martinez, a San Francisco native who moved to Chicago last October, the restaurant will feature minimalist style menus and decor. The brunch menu includes tartines, grilled octopus, and oysters, while the dinner menu offers dishes like braised short rib goulash and deer tartare.
