"The hotel restaurant at 1509 Broadway St. will present an intimate industry-focused dinner on Sept. 29 at 7 p.m., with James Beard–nominated chef Kate Williams hosting former Food & Wine editor Dana Cowin for a discussion about issues facing women in the restaurant world. Leading local women chefs and food leaders will prepare a six-course meal — participants include Kiki Louya, Jenn Jackson (of the recently-shuttered Bunny Bunny), Ederique Goudia, Chi Walker and Nik Cole — and tickets are $100, which include a copy of the host zine and the meal." - Serena Maria Daniels
