Where to Eat in Greenwich Village | Eater NY

"This recently opened sandwich shop is still getting long lines at lunchtime (it’s also open for limited hours during dinner). Co-owner and chef Antonio Barbieri, who once worked at 11 Madison Park, is the champion of the chopped sandwich, in which the filling is coarsely chopped before it is deposited in the bread, usually a hero or a kaiser roll. Chopped turkey club and curried chicken salad are popular choices, but there is also a sandwich named after Anthony Bourdain featuring crisped mortadella and provolone; of course, there’s also a chopped cheese." - Robert Sietsema
