"Opened earlier this month inside the former Tatsujin X space near the Palms, I found this small, chicken-focused robata grill from Mitsuo Endo of Raku fame centers on chicken yakitori and offers a chef’s tasting menu for $75 (with a premium version for $80) alongside a roster of sakes. Individual robata items listed include chicken heart, cartilage, gizzard, liver, neck, tail, breast with skin, and wing priced at $4–$5 each, while vegetable dishes—onion, sweet potato, pumpkin, or mushroom—are listed at $2.50 to $30. The robata kitchen features a bar in front where diners can watch the action, and the restaurant is the Raku team’s third local outpost, sitting in the Flamingo Arville Plaza at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Arville Street; Toridokoro Raku is at 4439 W. Flamingo Road, 702-337-6233, open Monday through Saturday from 6 p.m. to midnight." - Susan Stapleton
