"A tonkotsu specialist with strong ties back to Japan, Ramen Tatsunoya opened its first Los Angeles location in Pasadena in 2015 and has been serving long lines of noodle-lovers ever since; I’m told they're joining Sunset Gateway and that the menu will largely stay the same but will include some vegan offerings to suit the neighborhood, though they'll face nearby competition from Silverlake Ramen just down the street and Ramen Bangaichi up the other way." - Farley Elliott
