"I'm familiar with the California chain Dog Haus, known for stuffing hot dogs and sausages inside three top-split sweet Hawaiian rolls that function as a bun; it's bringing two new DFW outposts to Arlington and Burleson in 2019 as part of a national expansion that will double the chain’s size over the next year. Its first DFW location opened at the Richardson Restaurant Park in 2017, and the chain ultimately plans to open at least 20 locations in the metroplex, though no addresses or opening dates have yet been chosen for the Arlington and Burleson spots. Menu highlights include inventively topped dogs from classic chili-and-cheese to bacon-wrapped dogs smothered in cheese sauce and fried onions, a vegetarian hot Italian sausage topped with avocado, arugula, and basil aioli, plus burgers, sandwiches, sliders, and sides like cheese-topped tots and coleslaw." - Amy McCarthy
