Restaurateur Shannon Wynne’s New Mexican Restaurant Opens In May | Eater Dallas

"Later this spring a new Latin American eatery called Miriam Cocina Latina will debut in the restaurant formerly known as LARK on the Park; it's the newest establishment from prolific restaurateur Shannon Wynne (Rodeo Goat, Flying Fish, Meddlesome Moth, and more) and takes its name from partner Miriam Jimenez, whom Wynne met when she was working in the kitchens of beloved Dallas Mexican restaurants Mesero and Mr. Mesero. Miriam is in charge, and Wynne says that while Dallas doesn't need another Mexican restaurant, they hope to recreate the feeling of recognition, love and appreciation she felt when walking into a fashionable Mexican restaurant years ago. A representative confirms diners can expect a menu of classic Mexican dishes, and the restaurant is slated to open sometime in May." - Amy McCarthy
