"A good old Tex-Mex meal is a great way to kick off the year. This spot is offering a prix fixe menu that starts with an Impossible empanada that includes vegan chorizo. That’s followed by a choice of mains. There’s the Mar y Tierra, a 10 oz. grilled ribeye with four grilled shrimp and poblano mashed potatoes; grilled salmon with guava habanero sauce, coconut rice, and mixed greens; a vegetarian chile en nogada made with Impossible meat, pomegranate seeds, white coconut rice, and sauteed vegetables. For dessert enjoy chocolate caliente (a chocolate cake with chipotle pepper sauce and vanilla cream) or sweet plantain casserole (caramel plantains with cherry marshmallows, chocolate chips, and whipped cream). It’s a deal at $75 per person." - Courtney E. Smith

"Later this spring, a new Latin American eatery called Miriam Cocina Latina will debut in the restaurant formerly known as LARK on the Park. The newest establishment from prolific restaurateur Shannon Wynne (Rodeo Goat, Flying Fish, Meddlesome Moth, and more) will debut at 2015 Woodall Rogers Freeway in May, right across from Klyde Warren Park. The restaurant takes its name from partner Miriam Jimenez, whom Wynne met when she was working in the kitchens of beloved Dallas Mexican restaurants Mesero and Mr. Mesero. 'Miriam is in charge. We need another Mexican restaurant in Dallas like we need another hole in the head. But what we don’t have enough of is that feeling I had when I walked into that fashionable Mexican restaurant years ago,' Wynne said in a statement. 'Recognition, love and appreciation from the second I entered. We hope to change this soon.' No details on what Miriam Cocina Latina will serve just yet, but a representative confirms that diners can expect a menu of classic Mexican dishes." - Amy McCarthy

I came here on New Year's Eve and the place was so beautiful. The decorations were gorgeous and the staff was warm and welcoming. I could really tell they enjoyed working. We enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa. I had a rib eye steak which was delicious. I loved the potatoes that came with it as well. The espresso martini was amazing - one of the best! Everyone in the party enjoyed their food. The bread pudding was delicious too. I can't wait to come back here again. 10 out of 10!

This place is amazing. It's a top notch, top quality restaurant with wonderful food and service. Our hostess went out of her way to ensure we had comfortable seating. She was the best hostess we've had in a long time. The chips and salsa (all three of them) were delicious. The queso was excellent; it was made even better by the fact that Miriam herself delivered and then described it to us. What a treat!! She's obviously proud of her food and she should be. The veggie tacos were soooooo good. The enchiladas were delicious; the four amigos tacos were a great idea. We sampled a bit of everything, and it did not disappoint. We will be back to try the cake. It looked amazing as well.

I had a wonderful experience here! I had my birthday brunch with 15 people and we had an amazing time! The food was 10/10 drinks were 10/10. Our waiter Sammy was 1000000/10! He made me feel like a QUEEN that day! Everyone enjoyed their food from salads, tacos, waffles, French toast, fish, and the omlettes. Our drinks were superb! Come from brunch or lunch and you’ll 100% enjoy yourself! The manage Paulina was very helpful and accommodating! I had only one issue, there was about 12 of us at the restaurant the others were in line for valet parking and the hostess would seat us. She said “we don’t sit incomplete parties” I found that odd, because there was 12 of us just standing there. However because of the service my friends and I received I didn’t let that bother me.

Brunch was amazing. The best French toast I have had in a while. The music was soothing and ambiance was top notch. A perfect Saturday brunch place, pretty close to the food trucks (downtown Dallas)

I came here for a Thanksgiving meal. The queso was really good. The sangria was very tasty. My son loved his chicken and waffles. I however, was not a fan of my food. I got the smoked turkey enchiladas. It was like someone just took the tortilla out of the bag and put turkey in it and sauced it and put it on a plate. It was not soft and was uncooked. I was not a fan at all. Our server barely gave any attention to our table. Another server who was awesome asked us what we needed and filled drinks for us. I wish I could have tipped him instead. For coming here my time, my experience was not good. I won't be back.

First time here with Real Estate coworkers and it delivered! Kevin was amazing, definitely ask for him. He's got a great sense of humor, he's a New Yorker, period. So be ready! Also, he had a passion and great knowledge of the menu. Drinks: Frozen Strawberry was good, my friend has her mixed with Mango, which is noted for next time! The Aqua Frescas are fresh fresh, try the passion fruit, but the guava wins. Food: we had a table vote between the Empanadas and the Tejanas won the vote 3 to 2! Enchiladas were good, not sure if the poblano sauce was the best choice for the Short Rib, but still delicious. Punta Mita salad with steak was bomb! The Chile rellano was different. It's not fried, like I'm personally used to, but get it with steak and make sure you ask for tortillas. Ambience: the decor was appealing, not stuff random, also the music was lively, but could carry a conversation without screaming. Also, it was a great pleasure to meet Miriam! She is super bubbly and very sweet!

Our first time here. Loved it. The food is fresh and tastes wonderful. The guacamole appetizer is huge. Could easily feed 6. I got the 4 amigo taco plate. I liked all but the what I think was the short rib. It was chewy. If we go again I will get the shrimp taco. It was by far my favorite. I also got the Paloma. Wow. So good. We got the coconut crème brûlée. Amazing!

Miriam Cocina is an absolute gem in uptown Dallas that you just can't miss! From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with a wonderfully inviting atmosphere, especially if you opt for their charming outdoor patio—perfect for soaking in the vibrant Dallas scene. Miriam, the proprietor, clearly pours her passion into this place, and it shows in the exceptional customer service. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring every dining experience is smooth and enjoyable. Plus, the cleanliness of the restaurant is impeccable, adding to the delightful ambiance. Let's dive into the food—it's truly a culinary delight! I had the short rib enchiladas, and they were nothing short of excellent. Rich, tender, and bursting with flavor, they left a lasting impression. To top it off, I enjoyed a fantastic house margarita on the rocks, perfectly balanced and refreshing. Overall, Miriam Cocina offers not just a meal, but a remarkable experience. With its prime location and top-tier service, it's the perfect spot for a memorable dining outing. Highly recommend checking it out for an enjoyable culinary journey!

Yelp
I've driven past this place so many times and never thought to eat here because of course parking is insane. However, they do have valet across the street if you're willing to pay. Now that that's out of the way, this was the best food I've had in Dallas in a very long time! As busy as it was, our server did her best to be attentive and made recommendations. My friend and I both got the French toast which was perfectly sweet, not too much! And the short rib empanadas are to DIE FOR! They come with a lime crema on the side and all I can say is 10/10! The flight was just above average I wouldn't get it again but the martini was everything I could've hoped for! It's such a cute place! The environment is perfect for brunch! Yes I will be coming back :)

Yelp
My boyfriend brought us here for our anniversary dinner on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was fairly quiet I'm assuming since it was a weekday. I really appreciated the free valet parking since it's located right by the very busy Klyde Warren Park. Our server was kind and the food all came out very quickly. I always give bonus points to restaurants who start with free chips and salsa, and the three choices of salsa were a great addition. My favorites were the green and orange. To start we ordered the empanadas which were probably the best thing we ordered all night. They were fried perfectly and super flavorful with the best sauce to dip them in. My passion fruit marg was strong and delicious! My combination entree was good but nothing super impressive. I didn't love the carrots and corn in the rice and the enchilada meat sauce barely had any ground beef so it was not the most filling. The pork belly taco was flavorful but a light tough to bite through as a taco. The tres leches was surprisingly much more moist than I was expecting and it was a huge slice. I was not a fan of the raspberry filling though and chose to eat around it. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and in a super cool part of town. I would recommend for a one time date night!

Yelp
Just over 5 years ago I tried Miriam Cocina not to long after they had opened. Today I found myself needing food just prior to visiting the Dallas Museum of Art. Based on others favorable reviews I've seen Over the years,I thought I'd give Miriam another shot. After parking at the museum,we made the lovely stroll across Clyde Warren Park to eat at Miriam Cocina. So far so good. Most places in Dallas these days offer a brunch and here is no different. The usual suspects with a Latin influence are available and I opted for an omelette. Stuffed with sauteed spinach, mushrooms, bell pepper and onion,it was generous size. Served with fried potatoes. Also,I added an appetizer order of emenadas to include 1 chicken and two Short rib. A cucumber mint lemonade completed my order and nothing left to do but enjoy the pleasant settling and morning sun streaming in. Long story short, the chicken empanada was tasty. Not as magnificent as I expected but. That's were it stops. Combined with a couple of critical hiccups from the waiter and " less than" expected from the food,I'm afraid my 2nd visit to Mariam Cocina was.... As I looked around the restaurant between my arrival at 11:15 and 12 noon departure, business was slow for a restaurant in this area at this time of day Offering brunch . Not sure how it's going for them but I'm not rushing to return. Maybe I'll give them another shot in 5 years.

Yelp
Pretty good. Service was slow to get us the check but otherwise good. Vibe is very nice, the restaurant feels clean and looks good. Free valet parking is a plus. Food was hit or miss. Probably depends on the order. The empanadas tejanas were absolutely delicious as an appetizer. The amount that came with the order was a bit disappointing but they were great. Perfectly fried with a little crunch and super tender meat. My entree wasn't as impressive - I got the filete mahi mahi. The salad was good though I wish it didn't have the seeds in it. The fish itself just wasn't very good at all. It was chewy, not very tender. I'm not an experienced fish eater so I can't say if it's different from mahi mahi normally but it generally wasn't enjoyable. Given how good the empanadas were, my guess is that I just ordered an unlucky entree.

Yelp
Went here for a work dinner and was pleasantly surprised! The queso verde was the best and I didn't get a photo of it. Queso with poblanos and spinach = pure yum!!! Nice area near Klyde Warren Park and good parking in their garage that was validated. I'd definitely recommend this place and will visit again.

Yelp
I recently visited Miriam Cocina Latina with my family, and overall, it was a memorable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with lively decor and a warm, welcoming ambiance that set the stage for a great meal. The service was top-notch. Our server was polite, knowledgeable, and made some fantastic recommendations. The meal started off strong with the complimentary chips and trio of sauces, each one was flavorful, but the verde sauce was easily the standout. The red tomatillo sauce, while good, was my least favorite of the three. As for the food, the rice was light and fluffy, a real plus that paired perfectly with the rest of the meal. However, the black beans were a bit on the dry side, which was a minor disappointment. My drink, La Fresca, was refreshing but didn't quite live up to the hype but, it was good, but not as remarkable as I had anticipated. Despite a few small critiques, the overall experience at Miriam Cocina Latina was enjoyable. The vibrant atmosphere, excellent service, and quality food make it a spot I would return to, especially for the ambiance and those standout sauces!

Yelp
Excellent food, better service and very nice ambiance. We showed up at 7:30pm today and got seated right away. When I asked, our waiter Kevin C. recommended a few things and we tried some and they were excellent! We had the short rib and shrimp tacos and the bikini Margarita. Definitely coming back

Yelp
Miriam's, an upscale dining establishment in Dallas, Texas, is an absolute must-visit for those seeking a slice of the Dominican Republic's rich culinary heritage. Owner Miriam herself ensures every guest feels cherished, greeting diners with an infectious warmth that sets the tone for the evening. The menu, which features authentic Dominican flavors, boasts standout dishes like the perfectly cooked. The ambiance is refined yet comfortable, offering an intriguing blend of Dominican charm and contemporary sophistication. Dining at Miriam's isn't just a meal - it's an experience, one that beautifully highlights the artistry and depth of Dominican cuisine.

Yelp
Just had a fantastic brunch here at Miriam! They do validate parking which was very convenient. To start it off, the chips and salsa were delicious. Chips came fresh and warm, paired with three salsa flavors. Watch out, they're addicting! The margaritas were also great, I loved the guava flavor. The enchiladas mar y tierra were amazing, came with three flavors and each with great. The sauce on top went perfectly with the rice. The Amigos tacos plate was also awesome, came with four different flavors and we loved all the options. Personal favorite was the brisket. You can't go wrong here! We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
We were staying at a downtown hotel for our anniversary and walked over to Miriam Cocina which has become one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in Dallas. We started with a new appetizer for us, the tosterones de pollo. Not sure I am spelling that right, but they were fried plantains with smoked chicken and chipotle crema. Wow, they were good. Actually, they were spectacular. I never would have tried them if not for my Yelp buddy, Guy H., pointing them out to me. Thanks, Guy. We shared the chicken verde enchiladas and they were excellent as usual. Rice and black beans were excellent. I got my usual LaLola margarita (two, actually), and they are very flavorful with a nick kick. We had the chocolate cake for dessert which had a mild chipotle heat but was a bit dry. Service was friendly and efficient. Overall, another outstanding meal at Miriam. We can't wait to return.

Jose G.

Yelp
Some of the best food in town. Service is excellent and the cocktails are awesome. We have been coming here since it first opened and we have never had a bad experience. Miriam, the manager proprietor is just bursting with desire to take care of her clientele.

Spencer P.

Yelp
We were seated immediately in a cozy booth! The place quickly packed as the brunch crowd arrived! Our waiter was patient and knowledgeable. We ordered an appetizer of the short rib empanadas that were delicious ! I also ordered the Paloma which was pretty good! As an entree I ordered the steak and eggs. The steak was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The eggs were topped with pico! The breakfast potatoes could've used some salt and pepper as could the eggs but there wasn't any present on the table. Overall I definitely would return to try other menu options!

Fernando S.

Yelp
Good frozen margaritas. I tried the green pozole that was sadly plain. The waiter also recommended the chipotle queso so I trusted him and ordered 4 for the table. hardly anyone liked it so it wss a waste of food and moneu.

Mindy F.

Yelp
I only had enchiladas, I honestly really don't care for the food here, they are colorful and not bad, but I don't find them as good as others said in the comments. Service was good and friendly, it's also next to the Klyde Warren park where you basically can only do valet parking. Also, not sure if it's just this restaurant or I have never noticed before, there's an additional 3% 'kitchen love ' fees on the check, whatever that means.

m m.

Yelp
Service was incredible! Ordered 10-12 chips and twice the salsa! Idk how that's possible lol. Food was excellent although portions could've been larger. Filled up on the chips tho. Also TONS of water oh my lord. Good stuff and great fungus lamps! 7.8/10

Halle M.

Yelp
Nice location. Over looks Kylde warren park. That have valet parking which they will validate. The drinks were nice. I tried the mimosa. They freeze the juice mix with fruit in a sphere and pour champagne over it. I visited during brunch hours and had the omelette and salad. I was pleased they were able to accommodate my request to have short rib added in the omelette. I love spicy foods. They were able to provide me with a platter of grilled onions and Serrano peppers. I also tried some of my friends waffle. I loved the exterior crunchy texture, it was also very moist and soft on the inside. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
It's been a while since I've been impressed with a restaurant. The beautiful fall evening, the downtown vibe across from Clyde Warren Park, the restaurant ambiance, the service, and the food were all on point. I had the cabrito a la diabla and my husband had the pescado veracruzano. Both were excellent, but my husband, who usually isn't that excited by most restaurant meals, was wowed by the fish. He even insisted on taking a fairly small leftover part of the fish home because it was so good. Our waiter, Ezequiel, was excellent as well, and took time with our large group. This is a place that will get repeat visits for the hospitality and the food.

Brandon S.

Yelp
Tacos were amazing!! Agua fresca was so good! Service was excellent! Seemed like a really cool place; busy but good energy.

Kelsey M.

Yelp
I don't think I've ever had food quite like this before. It's very authentic and different for Dallas. It's a great addition! Inside is beautiful with hand painted ceiling, funky decor and open kitchen. The service was amazing. Everyone was quick, attentive, kind and well mannered. The chips with trio of salsa was good- the red was my favorite. The queso is green. It threw me off a bit, but tasted just like good ole queso. The chicken tacos were amazing. The chicken was so tender and juicy. My husband had the Rojas Queso Enchiladas and he devoured the entire dish. He didn't have a crumb to spare

Melyna S.

Yelp
In town for business and wanted to try somewhere new for dinner near our hotel! Ended up at Miriam's and so glad we did! When we first walked in and approached the hostess stand it was Miriam herself laughing with a customer on the phone. I loved her laugh, it wasn't until we saw the picture above the bar and then looked back at Miriam that we realized who was standing at the hostess stand! It was incredible to see! She even sat us herself and her warm welcome! The food...delicious! I loved my drink and my enchiladas, and even later in my hotel room, I enjoyed my pastel de boda! Everyone I was with loved the food they ordered! I will be keeping Miriam's Cocina at the top of mind next time I am in Dallas! I want to keep trying more of the menu! The service was great, the vibe was nice - seemed to have a way to cater towards the professional types that work in the area as well as others who want good food!

Myanh N.

Yelp
They have good drink options and the ambiance of the restaurant was nice. Good place for getting dinner and drinks with friends.

Tai N.

Yelp
Went here during a work trip and was recommended by our Uber driver. It's across the street from a family friendly park with an awesome playground, food trucks, and splash pads. The decor is spectacular and service is amazing. Right away they bring you chips and 3 salsas, very tasty. I got the ceviche and garlic butter shrimp. Ceviche had nice chunks of shrimp, octopus, and avocado. Came with plantain chips, which were ok. Tasted better on the table chips. The garlic shrimp was kind of plain and nothing spectacular. Overall great experience. I think I should have gotten the enchiladas but always next time. Worth a try!

Irene M.

Yelp
Brunch on a Sunday was excellent! We also got to meet Miriam who had a smile and greeting those dining by going table to table. The conchas were a nice start to our breakfast and the perfect size. The three salsas with three chips were various levels of spiciness. The steak and eggs were the perfect combination and the steak was tender and nicely seasoned with a chimichurri sauce. Oliver's tostadas were a nice combination of flavors from black beans to plantain. The menu states two eggs, but the dish received only had one egg. The restaurant is in a great location in downtown Dallas near the museum and Klyde Warren Park. The restaurant has a nice feel to it with lively music and the service was spectacular.

Robert K.

Yelp
This place is esthetically beautiful for sure. The decor of this place has been throughly thought through which is amazing. Very instagramable place to put it that way. The service here was fantastic and the food was even better. The mole poblano enchiladas were amazing. The mole sauce was greatly made. The flavor was very rich and nutty which made the perfect enchiladas. The chips and salsa kept on coming so we ordered guacamole which was very fresh and tasty. For sure will be coming back to check out more of the menu.

Candace M.

Yelp
See Mi Cocina, keep walking across the street. These people care about their food. I drink Agua Fresca, fantastic However, my friends primarily interested Margaritas don't seem a thrilled, but my criteria is food, and I can't tell a good margarita from a less good one, but I have never had the house brand of booze, someone insists on a gold or silver, so ok! Seems fine to me...

LaMecia M.

Yelp
This place was within walking distance of our hotel in downtown Dallas and it did not disappoint. The portions were generous and the flavors were spot on! You can always tell if a place will be good by their salsa and I had a hard time saving room for my food. This place can get busy so I suggest you make a reservation especially if you have a large party. But know that the staff is friendly and quick. They even let me customize my order with an extra taco because I was really hungry that day! Loved the floral decor-it was bright and airy and felt spacious even though the place was packed.

Alicia S.

Yelp
We were in the area looking for a Mexican restaurant, and ended up getting much more than we bargained for in the best way possible . Upon entering the restaurant was very clean with a great design and concept. We were promptly greeted and seated. Our server was very kind and informative. He told us the chef is from the Dominican Republic, so the cuisine was a bit of a fusion and also had Caribbean touches. Learning that made us even more excited to eat! The chips were hot and crispy and all 3 different salsas were fresh and delicious. I ordered the shrimp tacos and yuca fries and they were both soooo good! My babe ordered the pork belly tacos which he enjoyed, the only downside was it was not enough food for him, so of course he ordered more tacos (problem solved ). For his second order of tacos, he had the flat iron beef tacos. We had zero complaints on the food, everything was amazing ! We both had margaritas to drink. I had the Bikini (a skinny margarita), which was very light and fresh. My babe had the Acapulqueña (house margarita) and it was also very fresh and delicious. I have absolutely ZERO complaints and I cannot wait to go back and try other recommendations our server gave us. Special shoutout to Eddie, our server. He was extremely kind, informative and attentive!!

Teresa R.

Yelp
Wow, I haven't given only 2 stars in a long time! But I had high expectations since a friend had recommended it to take my buddy for her birthday. We visited on a Saturday night & I called ahead and was told there was no wait. Awesome that it was true, we walked in and were immediately seated. Our server Marco was friendly. He took our drink order and brought them to us in a timely manner. The dining area is bright and lively with lots of natural yet colorful decor. We sat in a booth that has a chair on one side & a booth seat on the other side. Neither of us wanted to sit on the chair, lol - she's a dentist who sits on a stool most of the day & I'm an accountant who longs for a comfy seat, so we shared the booth side, with a view of a bunch of booths across from us, lol. There are lots of tables along the windows, but none were available tonight. My friend ordered the short rib enchiladas and I ordered a la carte - one short rib taco and one chicken enchilada. It wasn't a difficult order but our server promptly forgot it & came right back to ask me what I had ordered. I get it, we were 2 middle-aged women, looked pretty boring, and probably looked too relaxed after a spa day at the Omni - not as fun as the tables around us. But he forgot a chicken enchilada and a short rib taco almost immediately. I was absolutely saddened by it. After everyone around us had received their food, drinks, dessert & been chatted with, still no food for us. I flagged down someone & asked for our server. He made some excuse, but the food was delivered shortly and was cold, so I knew he had left it sitting on the ledge, forgetting me yet again. A woman who seemed to have some authority came by when I complained to a nearby waiter (where was our server all this time?) and she took something off our bill - I think it was a little bowl of chips & dip. I told her I was just trying to show my friend a nice time on her birthday & she took pity on us and brought a small slice of cake for her. I'm sorry but I don't accept the meager apology and I won't be recommending this place. Management should teach staff to treat everyone the same - important, because you never know who is very active on Yelp and Google and has had excellent service from your competitors. But most important - you want every customer to leave feeling they had a special time.

Bridget B.

Yelp
TL;DR - I liked it, but didn't LOVE it. I can tell there is a great team here and absolutely love the open kitchen concept. I can see my food being prepared & know it is all made fresh. We came on a busy Friday & sat at the bar. We were greeted promptly and given menus; however, I saw guests wanting to sit at tables had to wait quite some time to be greeted. We ordered the El Batey & Oscar old fashioned. I don't mind spending $15 on a drink, but anticipated a stronger drink at that price point. The complimentary chips and salsa were tasty which made me excited to try the food. Unfortunately, the enchiladas mar y Tierra were not very flavorful or spicy and the portions of meat in each were minuscule for $21. Overall the experience was okay. If you are at or near Klyde Warren park, this could be a good local dine in spot, but I would not consider it a "must go" experience.

Ken P.

Yelp
This is my 2nd visit to Miriam. The 1st being brunch and today trying out diner with friends. Our first mistake; eating at the bar. It felt as if we were not wanted at the bar. The bartender made us feel like we were not welcome. Appetizers, drinks, entrees, even closing the tab required us to flag the bartender or somehow get his attention that we needed service. The only patrons at the bar he would engage were people he already knew. It just made it a bad experience. We ordered a whole fish that was fried and #1. The chicken taco is the bomb. I would definitely order that again. As far as coming back idk , I guess I would say don't sit at the bar, ask for a table.

Nikita E.

Yelp
Gosh, I was hoping to like this place. I am so confused with all the great reviews. Miriam Cocina lacks flavors in their food in ways I would never think were possible in Mexican/Latin cuisine. Let's start with the chips and the trio salsas, which had no flavor. I asked for fresher chips, and they needed salt badly. I started to get a bad feeling about this place, so for the appetizer, I only wanted to try the famous verde queso. The queso tastes like velveeta cheese. Where is the verde in the queso? My husband and I didn't even eat it. Now, on to the entrees, I had the short-rib enchilada. This dish lacked flavor and depth and was lukewarm. I sent the dish back to be recooked. I mean, come on what is going on here? The #1 combination dish with a chicken taco and short-rib enchilada was equally depressing. I will not be back.

Teresa S.

Yelp
The place has fantastic ambience and a few places that are Instagram friendly. The food was amazing. The pairing of the lobster enchiladas, habanero cream sauce and coconut rice was amazing!! I would definitely try them again!

Spongebob S.

Yelp
Food was good. We got the guacamole and queso verde combo. The guac was great (doesn't come with chunks of onion in it which I love), queso verde was good (kinda just tasted like velveeta cheese tbh, but I love velveeta so i'm not complaining). I got the chicken mole enchiladas for my entree, which i loved. The mole sauce was great. We got two desserts: tres leches and bread pudding. Both were very good, but my favorite was the tres leches. Only confusion was that the bread pudding did not come with a caramel sauce as described on the menu, instead it had a berry sauce poured overtop. It was still good though! Would definitely want to come back :) Spongebob APPROVED

Yelp
Sat on the patio with my dog and it was the perfect afternoon! I was greeted promptly, and provided with a water dish for my pup. I had the mahi mahi tacos which were fabulous and an absolutely delicious strawberry margarita. If I lived here, I would absolutely go back because the ambiance was fun and the menu had so many incredible options!

Yelp
The first thing that captures your senses is how visually attractive this place is or maybe it is the valet parking in the adjacent parking garage. The second thing about this place is the very informative and attentive our waiter was on our visit. The third thing about Miriam is the menu which features everything we like about upscale Mexican restaurants: 1. Salmon tacos 2. Mahi tacos 3. Shot rib enchiladas 4. Very tasty guacamole My wife had a glass of champagne with a fruit ball in it that looked interesting and she said it was amazing. Everyone else had frozen margaritas served in a very cool glass. I now have another upscale Mexican restaurant to go to that appealing to our palettes.

Yelp
My husband and I ate here prior to a show at Winspear. The food was amazing!!! We ordered the shrimp tacos and the chicken verde enchiladas. Both dishes were incredible. Our server, Amy, was attentive and cheerful. We will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Great atmosphere, super cute aesthetic Employees were really helpful as soon as we entered and we got seated right away Ordered Bolitas De Yuca (right amount of flavor) and tostadas de coco (really refreshing, the shells are a little frail) it was so yummy!! Main course is Santo Domingo ensalada with spring mix instead of arugula Chicken verde enchilada Everything was really good

Yelp
Parking - There is a parking garage you can valet in. Valet is complimentary if you're dining in but do tip! It's hard to find street parking at Klyde Warren. Ambiance - Right across the street from Klyde Warren so it's in a busy area. I've been twice and have not had to wait for a table. There is a bar to sit at. There was an event going on but they mainly stay near the bar so we could barely tell it was packed, although getting to the bathroom required navigating through the crowd. The decor is super cute. Food - Both my aunt and I got the 4 amigos and both thought the shrimp taco was the best. The chicken was dry. The beef and pork were good. We also ordered the ceviche and that was okay. The plantains were really good! Drinks: They advertised a watermelon drink on Instagram and when I ordered it they said they didn't have it. Got a Paloma, it was good! Strong and flavorful. Overall, I will be back.

Yelp
The food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place as it also has a beautiful park right across the street, the service was fantastic. All the waiters, we're at your beckon and call for everything you needed. The Margaritas, especially the passion, Margarita, is made to perfection..

Yelp
Stopped in (with reservations) on a Saturday night @ 7PM. Valet is in the parking garage entrance, friendly, convenient and efficient. We were seated promptly: Water, chips and a salsa trio hit the table immediately. Our waiter was close behind to take drink orders and describe specials. Service was excellent. The restaurant is modern and upscale, brightly decorated and festive. The seating area was at capacity but the noise level was very reasonable. Appetizers arrived quickly, both hot and fresh. Guacamole was on point, not overly mashed and just a hint of cilantro, onion and tomato. The verse salsa was also excellent, poblano undertones and rich cheese flavor. We tried a variety of meals and all entrees were excellent, arriving quickly and hot. The enchiladas were freshly made as the tortillas still had great texture. Enchilada sauces were flavorful, herbal and were not overly oily. The tacos really outshined the other entrees- pulled chicken was richly smokey and lean- shrimp were melt/in/your/mouth tender- short rib taco was decadent and the pork belly taco was something to think about until we return. These were the best tacos that I've ever had, although a departure from traditional street tacos. I'm not really a dessert person, but the table decided to share the Tres Leches cake and the spicy chocolate cake. The levees cake was very rich and sweet and vanilla forward- excellent. The spicy chocolate cake was truly incredible. The chocolate cake is very light and has a rich/warm ganache icing poured over. The spice on the cake was very subtle- this is a very refined and awesome cake. We are looking forward to returning very soon!!!

Yelp
What a great meal this past weekend! This place certainly lived up to the hype. Everything we ate was impressive starting from the very well made skinny margaritas (I may have had too many of these btw ha!). All the appetizers were delicious, the green Queso is thick and flavorful and a nice start to the meal. The chicken and beyond meat empanadas were both flaky and moist inside. The Yuca fritters filled with cheese and the spicy sauce in the bottom were a nice surprise and was devoured by our table in a few minutes. The Cabrito (Goat) was amazing!!! Not a lot of Mexican restaurants (let alone restaurants) attempt this on their menu but Miriam and her crew knocked it out of the park by cooking the meat perfectly and complimenting it with a beautiful Chile sauce that did not overpower the meat. We'll be back!

Yelp
Some of the best Mexican Food in DFW. Hands down winner on all fronts. Ordered: (Drink) Mango Nuevo Moda Margarita - 4/5 - The mango taste was distinct and the drink had a good amount of alcohol (App) Queso Verde - 5/5 - This queso was very distinct because of the cilantro and roasted poblanos. Loved the flavors and the different taste. (App) Bolitas De Yuca - 5/5 - The yuca balls were very crispy and the cheese was warm and gooey. The spicy ranch was the star that brought out the flavors of the yuca and the cheese. (Main) Milanesa De Polla - 5/5 - The chicken breast was perfectly crispy and very moist on the inside. It was cooked perfectly, as was the charred corn beneath it. The salad was unnecessary in my view, but not unwelcome. Eating the chicken with the spicy ranch from the bolitas was a game changer. (Dessert) Pastel De Boda - 5/5 - The perfect way to end the meal. The tres leches cake was rich without being heavy and the caramel milk sauce was excellent. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very warm and inviting. The service was also excellent. Our server was attentive and very friendly. He guided us through the menu and every one of his recommendations were a winner. DFW has a lot of Mexican restaurants, but this one definitely surpasses almost all of them.

Yelp
Visiting from California and we loved the food here. I ordered the mole enchiladas, they were very good, great authentic flavor, the red rice literally reminded me of my abuelitas rice. The waiter was one of the best I've had, very attentive, great customer service and he even made buddy buddy with my dad. We saw Miriam there and noticed how she knows a lot of her customers, it was nice to see the chef behind the amazing food. The place is very aesthetically beautiful, great ambience and wouldn't mind going there just for drinks and desert. Talking about desert the creme brûlée was wow... Definitely coming back when we are back in Dallas

Yelp
The BEST! Phenomenal is an understatement. Service - fast and friendly. Decor - great. Food...EXCELLENT! My group came for lunch, we were seated immediately. Drink orders came out fast and we're delicious. The appetizers were delicious and could've served as the meal, we were so full. We ordered ceviche, queso and yuca potatoes. Everything was great. Large portion sizes and tasted great. I ordered the fried red snapper to split with a friend. It's big enough to share with 3 people. DELICIOUS! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Miriam Cocina Latina is a standout restaurant. From the hand-painted flowers on the ceiling, to the stellar service, to the innovative food, it was exactly what I was looking for in Dallas. They start you off with a 3-salsa and chips combo made from different peppers. The first and last were the classic red and mild verde salsas, and the middle one was a piquillo-pepper based one with little to no heat and a creamy finish. Their duo verde was a perfect way to try their poblano-infused queso dip and house guac. I'm a big critic when it comes to guac, and, once we added the lime, it was perfect. Their ceviche de coco tostadas were crunchy and creamy with bits of sweet mango, crunchy cucumber, pickled onions, young coconut and a bright salsa macha. Each bite was well-balanced and refreshing. I was shocked at how they grilled their shrimp to perfection with some of the char adding to the depth of flavor. Shrimp tacos are my go-to order anywhere, and I was pleasantly surprised with Miriam's take on a classic. I chose to add lime to my second taco and it made it that much better. If you're in the area, I highly recommend you stop by. Jose Luis was very attentive and kind throughout the night. My only critique is for them to serve freshly made, warm chips (pretty please). It would make the queso, guac, and salsas that much better. Ig: @ladancingfoodie
