"Going into the former 12th Street Cantina space, Umi Seafood and Sushi Bar is a collaboration between chef Yong Kim of the Philly suburbs’ Bluefin restaurants and purveyor Suzi Kim (of John Yi Fish Market, Under the C Seafood, and Ardmore Seafood). It will offer a selection of prepared seafood items and more than 100 varieties of sushi, sashimi, and maki for eating in the market or takeout; the name 'Umi' means 'ocean' in Japanese and the partners emphasize a dedication to providing the freshest fish." - Rachel Vigoda
