"Restaurant Sarajevo, one of the few Bosnian restaurants in Chicago, has closed for good after 30 years at 2701 W. Lawrence Avenue in Lincoln Square. Ownership, which has not yet responded to requests for more information, announced the news on Sunday on Facebook, simply writing that 'It was an incredible journey. Thank you for: support, friendship, memories and appreciation of our family and culture for all those years.' The property had been for sale but is now listed as 'no longer available,' so new ownership could take it over. The longtime BYOB was known for cevapcici and other Eastern European and Mediterranean specialties." - Daniel Gerzina
