"Veteran chef and restaurateur Michael Lachowicz permanently closed suburban fine dining icon George Trois in late February after nine years at in Winnetka, according to a rep. The closure is designed to make way for an expansion of Aboyer, Lachowicz’ French brasserie that until now has shared a space with George Trois at 64 Green Bay Road. To keep the spirit of George Trois alive for its fans, he’ll use the name and ethos for a series of monthly pop-up dinners, wine events, and cooking classes." - Ashok Selvam
