"I learned that a massive, approximately 12,000-square-foot Gopuff-branded convenience store is coming to the west side of San Francisco in the space formerly occupied by Pier One near Geary and Stanyan; it will sell food items such as ice cream, nonalcoholic beverages and pet food alongside convenience staples like toilet paper, diapers and Covid-19 testing kits. The company says this will be its first brick-and-mortar in California (it has other unannounced stores live in Texas and Florida), and the SF location is part of an effort to explore a retail experience to complement its online offerings beyond its recently acquired BevMo! business; Gopuff launched SF delivery in early 2021 and currently operates in a limited number of zip codes." - Lauren Saria
