"After almost 80 years in the Fairmont San Francisco, the Tonga Room no longer serves most cocktails in decorative tiki mugs — while tiki mugs remain for sale in the lobby and a few larger drinks are still served in ceramic bowls, most drinks are now in clear glasses; a spokesperson cited “uniformity purposes,” and one bartender said the venue addressed an issue with tiki mug stealing." - Paolo Bicchieri
