"A new hotel is on its way to downtown Detroit complete with new dining options. Choice Hotels International plans to open a Cambria Hotel in Detroit at 600 W. Lafayette Blvd. Among the amenities outlined in a release, Choice Hotels teases 'Celebrity chef curated' food with local beers on tap, wine, and cocktails. A representative for Choice Hotels confirms to Eater that the celebrity chef associated with the hotel is Fabio Viviani. His group Fabio Viviani Hospitality will be in charge of the food and beverage program at the hotel in partnership with Yellow Door Hospitality. Viviani previously opened a pizzeria called Mercato by Fabio Viviani inside the Press Room (located across from the future Cambria Hotel).
