"A new Deep Ellum sports-party bar is slated to open mid to late March at the corner of Elm Street and Malcolm X Boulevard, taking over the space most recently vacated by Junction Craft Kitchen (and earlier Kitchen LTO). The venue aims for an indoor-outdoor feel with four garage doors that open to the street, plenty of TVs, mural art and a DJ to create a lively, party-oriented atmosphere billed as a “your friendly neighborhood sports party bar!” The menu leans into gimmicks — a 64-ounce Moscow mule, cheekily named items like the “hippie wrap” and “boss burger,” an “upside down burger,” and sandwiches and burgers developed by consulting chef Alex Lines — and also includes a “phat banh mi” with marinated shaved pork, pickled carrots, cucumber radish and serrano peppers. Planned hours are 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. on weekends." - Alaena Hostetter
