"Opening this spring in the former Lake and Oak BBQ space at the corner of 2nd Avenue and Hosea Williams Drive in East Lake, this location will serve the same menu as the chain’s other branches: a mix of Spanish, Mexican, and Cuban dishes including tacos, burritos, paella, and Cuban sandwiches. Co-owner Karen Haan says the owners bought the building to bring the concept “closer to this side of town.” The restaurant is expected to be open daily starting around 11 a.m., and its arrival marks a return to the neighborhood for the group behind the concept, which also owns Fellini’s Pizza and Greater Good BBQ; other existing locations are in Buckhead, Chastain Park, Candler Park, and Poncey-Highland." - Beth McKibben
