Charlotte-Based Cantina Swings Open the Doors on East Bay Street | Eater Carolinas

"I saw that RuRu’s Tacos + Tequila opened this week at 159 East Bay St in Charleston; it mirrors the Charlotte version and offers tacos, queso, fajitas, burritos and Jasmine rice bowls. Although the menu is Mexican, the restaurant says it draws inspiration from Latin, Korean, American and Greek fare. Many items have kitschy pop-culture names, including "You go Glenn CoCo" (Mean Girls), "I’ll have what she’s having" (When Harry Met Sally) and "We were on a break" (Friends).
