Chef Fany Gerson’s Greenwich Village Desserts Shop La Newyorkina To Permanently Close - Eater NY

"La Newyorkina, the first brick-and-mortar location of Fany Gerson’s beloved Mexican desserts shop, is set to permanently close its doors after four years of business. The shop specializes in paletas and ice cream and has been affected by the downturn in foot traffic and the inability to reach an agreement with the landlord. Despite growing nationwide delivery sales, it wasn’t enough to offset the summer sales. The shop will close on January 10." - Luke Fortney
