"A casual-upscale Mexican restaurant launching its first East Coast location in early 2023 in Boston’s Back Bay. The new 5,800-square-foot space will seat about 200 indoors with an additional 30-seat patio and sits at 116 Huntington Ave., an office building across from the Prudential Center. This will be the concept’s seventh outpost (following locations in Playa Vista, Newport Beach, Irvine, Scottsdale, Denver, and Las Vegas) and is operated by the California-based Xperience Restaurant Group. The menu sticks to Baja-inspired coastal fare with at least 24 house-made salsas, a wide taco selection that ranges from deep-fried duck leg and carne asada to vegan roasted butternut squash and barbecue seitan, plus plenty of seafood such as ceviche and a chipotle shrimp with grilled corn salad. Beverage offerings include dozens of mezcals and tequilas, tableside margaritas, cocktails, wines and beers, and the spot will offer lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, Taco Tuesday and some live music." - Adam H.
