Catch Steak Has Closed in Chelsea | Eater NY

"A new nightclub in the East Village at 101 Avenue A (between East Seventh and Sixth streets) is opening with its first show on Thursday, January 9. EV Grieve previewed the space during a New Year’s Eve party; the venue features bars, club spaces, DJ setups, and multiple areas on the ground floor and in the basement. The address previously housed the short-lived Baker Falls (with a music stage under the Knitting Factory name) and before that was the longtime home of Pyramid Club. The project comes from the team behind Williamsburg music venue Baby’s All Right; owner Billy Jones also has another nearby venue in the works called Funny Bar, coming soon to 133 Essex Street." - Nadia Chaudhury
