MasterChef Season 8 Winner Brings Southern California to Montreal with New Restaurant | Eater Montreal

"After 46 years, an Old Montreal bar and performance venue, 2Pierrot, has announced it will shutter due to the financial fallout of the pandemic; owner Marilous Sciascia Ruel (daughter of the founder) shared the news on Facebook and told the Montreal Gazette that, despite government subsidies, reopening the 700-person establishment no longer felt possible, and the bar plans to host a virtual farewell show on December 12." - Valerie Silva
