"A drive out to El Monte is rewarded by a spot that makes Taiwanese sausage and noodles on-site; it’s best to land here with two or three diners and order a bit of everything — marinated cucumbers, fried pork chop, and especially the beef noodle soup. While the beef shank is excellent, the beef tendon soup is outstanding, with tender meat and a pleasant gelatinous texture. The bowl is filled with bok choy, green onions, and beautifully chewy noodles, and the broth is finished with a bed of incredible aromatics. — Mona Holmes, editor, Eater Southern California/Southwest" - Eater Staff
