"I toured the sky-high rotating Skycity Restaurant inside the Space Needle ahead of a multi-year, multi-phase renovation starting this September; the restaurant will shutter in the fall and reopen in stages beginning in spring 2018. Food-wise, the changes include a menu overhaul that will replace or refresh current dishes. Structurally, the restaurant will gain a rotating glass floor that will reveal views of the Needle’s infrastructure and the Seattle Center campus below diners’ feet, and the current windows will be replaced by floor-to-ceiling glass to further enhance the city views — anyone with a fear of heights may want to dine elsewhere." - Eater Staff
