"Bar Cecil, opening April 20 in Palm Springs, is led by local star chef Gabe Woo. The venue, formerly a decades-old sushi bar, has been transformed into a glam 75-seat restaurant featuring bold decor and a menu centered around contemporary bistro fare. Highlights include a caramelized onion and Comté tart, Bibb salad, grilled California artichokes, traditional ratatouille, steak frites, and a pan-seared halibut. The bar offers indulgent options like the Regiis Ova caviar service and the Fifty Dollar Martini. The Beaton Experience, a six-course dinner for four to eight with wine pairings, is available for $350 per person.
