"Since opening in March of 2020, I’ve seen Fonda Lupita quickly become one of the most talked-about restaurants in North Carolina: owner Biridiana Frausto assembled an all-women team of family and friends to recreate her mother Lupita’s cherished homestyle Mexican recipes, turning flavorful stews of pork, chicken, beef, and more into quesabirria tacos, gorditas, and tortas.
