RASA Brings Hit Indian Bowls to Arlington With Its First Location Outside of D.C. | Eater DC

"Near the Crystal City Metro at 2200 Crystal Drive, I learned that RASA, the fast-growing fast-casual counter for Indian bowls, opens a new Arlington location Friday, July 2. The familiar menu includes bowls such as the chicken-tikka–based Tikka Chance on Me and the sweet-potato tikki Aloo Need Is Love, plus vegan soft serve in mango lassi and masala chai flavors. The beverage lineup features wine, beer, and cocktails like a masala gin and tonic, cardamom mint julep, spiked lassi, and tamarind margarita. Owners Rahul Vinod and Sahil Rahman (Eater Young Guns ’18) opened their first RASA in Navy Yard in 2017 and a second location in Mt. Vernon Triangle last year; this latest 1,550-square-foot spot seats up to 32 and will operate daily from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. On Thursday, July 1, visitors can get a free lunchtime bowl with a suggested donation to World Central Kitchen." - Tierney Plumb
