"Family-owned since 1990, this Las Vegas Mexican restaurant began as a 12-table spot and has expanded into its fourth location inside Palace Station, opening May 2 just ahead of Cinco de Mayo. The new space reuses walls from the previous tenant, painted yellow and lined with pottery and colorful ceramics, but is dressed up with sparkling pendant lights, exposed brick and hammered copper accents, plus pretty tiles along a tequila-stocked bar; it seats 106 in booth and table seating. Expect the same enchiladas, tacos, fajitas and tableside guacamole found at the other locations, alongside standout plates like lobster tails in a Spanish-style garlic sauce, green chilaquiles with steak and carnitas braised in Coca-Cola — a family recipe from owner Javier Barajas’s mom. The opening weekend features drink specials (for example, $12 Patrón margaritas). Regular hours are Mon–Thu 11 a.m.–10 p.m., Fri 11 a.m.–midnight, Sat 10 a.m.–midnight and Sun 9 a.m.–10 p.m., with weekday lunch specials Mon–Fri 11 a.m.–4 p.m. The operation also has other locations in Summerlin and Henderson and owns several additional local concepts." - Janna Karel
