Red River Music Venue and Bar Beerland Is Reopening in November - Eater Austin
"Red River music venue and bar Beerland is going to reopen under new ownership. The venue shuttered in late May when then-owner Richard Lynn announced Beerland’s sale just before the employees were going to go on strike because of unpaid salaries and bounced checks. That sale fell through. Beerland’s new owners includes Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater (aka Stubb’s concert venue portion just down the street) general manager Ryan Garrett. Garrett told Austin360 that the new Beerland will still include music and events. The aim is to open before Thanksgiving in November." - Nadia Chaudhury
