Houston’s Nigerian Community and International Artist Help Craft New ‘Japa’ Beer at Astral Brewery | Eater Houston

"As part of Rice University’s Moody Center for the Arts programming tied to the Urban Impressions: Experiencing the Contemporary Global Metropolis exhibit, I note that Japa can be purchased in the center’s cafe and will be featured at an event on Saturday, November 5, when Ogboh will offer samples from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. that can be paired with dishes from the international food truck park on-site; the exhibit, launched in September, seeks to explore perceptions and memories of urban life and what informs our experience of the city in the 21st century." - Brittany Britto Garley
