With its oddball, sensational, and deliciously thought-provoking dishes, Poltergeist is a standout addition to the neighborhood. The Thai Caesar is a puzzle to figure out how to eat with its towering green puffed rice, crispy texture, and lemongrass notes, but that’s half the fun. A miso glaze, Fresno chile butter, and furikake make the Parker House rolls both savory and sweet (your table might ask for a second order). And don’t question the horchata panna cotta that’s paired with Argoti’s honey walnut prawns — just dig in.
