"Raleigh-based Trophy Brewing Company owners recently expanded their downtown footprint with the opening of Young Hearts Distilling at 223 South Wilmington Street. Owners Chris Powers, David “Woody” Lockwood, and David Meeker, along with head distiller Mena Killough, aim to draw crowds curious about the distilling process while enjoying Instagrammable cocktails from the rooftop patio. The distillery also features a full restaurant, offering dishes like Brunswick rillettes and sweet potato pappardelle, led by Chef Alex Ricci and sous chef Josiah Halbohm.
