"Williamsburg vegan cafe the Butcher's Daughter has added a bakery and market next door, at the corner of Metropolitan and Driggs Avenue. The space has a 17-foot long communal table, where diners can have coffee from popular Colombian roaster Devocion, juices, and organic smoothies. Plus, executive pastry chef Perry Ledesma is rolling out an artisanal bread program featuring an extra sour sourdough and gluten-free ciabatta; vegan pastries like a huckleberry-ginger muffin are also planned. The market portion of the space will sell to-go foods like avocado toast as well as retail items like spa products." - Carla Vianna
