"After five years on Tulane Avenue and setting into motion an influx of new businesses opening on the street, art and cocktail-centric bar Treo has closed. Owners Stephen and Pauline Patterson put the building up for sale this past August, spelling the Mid City bar’s imminent closure. After closing for the weekend, the couple reopened for one last service Monday night and yesterday posted a video to Facebook saying goodbye to the space and wishing prosperity for its new owners. Treo was originally listed for $975,000. Opened in 2014, Treo previously housed famed chef Michael Gulotta’s Tana and most recently crawfish favorite Clesi’s. The nontraditional bar focused on art and cocktails and later introduced wellness programs for its loyal regulars." - Clair Lorell
