"The New York Panettone Festival returns this weekend from December 15 to 17. The free festival, which got its start in 2021, showcases the tall Italian breads in a range of traditional and modern styles: They are sold with caramel, coffee, white and dark chocolates, pistachio, and more, with vegan and gluten-free options, too. Most panettone cost between $50 and $70. This year’s festival is held at the Piazza at Hunter’s Point South Park (5241 Center Boulevard, near Borden Avenue) in Long Island City, Queens.
