"Set to reopen in early 2024 after closing during the pandemic and briefly operating as an events venue, Rye Street Tavern will occupy a completely renovated 12,000-square-foot, two-story space with a redesigned kitchen and multiple bars, dining, and event spaces furnished with art and artifacts that pay homage to Baltimore’s history. The American menu will feature familiar Clyde’s favorites — a juicy burger, a reliable raw bar, and jumbo lump crab cakes — alongside seasonal and classic cocktails, local beers, and an international wine list; a new oyster-slinging bar and a 75-seat outdoor drinking area will overlook the Patapsco River. This will be Clyde’s first location outside the DMV, and the company says the opening will create 150 new hospitality jobs; Clyde’s CFO Jeff Owens also says they will only stock one brand of rye whiskey." - Tierney Plumb
