"The fast-casual hummus and pita shop Little Sesame is launching a months-long pop-up on the outskirts of D.C. with a winter residency at Chevy Chase’s Sugar Fox from January 6 through March 14, offering takeout and in-house delivery Wednesdays–Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The pop-up emphasizes family-style, shawarma-spiced spit-roasted rotisserie chickens (available whole or half) and spiced, marinated cauliflower; the poultry is raised humanely without hormones or antibiotics. Limited quantities of the shop’s classic hummus bowls will be available off-menu, and family-style chicken or cauliflower meals for two to four cost $20–$48, with sides like maple roasted carrots and rotisserie potatoes with drippings at $5 each. Meals come with sauce choices such as harissa barbecue and labneh ranch, and other options include a family-style veggie fattoush salad, retail pints of hummus, marinated peppers, five-packs of pitas, plus a selection of natural wine, canned beers, and Middle Eastern–inspired sweets made with Sugar Fox’s bakers." - Tierney Plumb
