Contemporary European-Style Bakery and Cafe Coming to Pacific Beach - Eater San Diego

"A European-inspired cafe that got its start in 2015 in the Windansea area of La Jolla will open a larger outpost in Pacific Beach by the end of the year that will house a full-fledged bakery which will supply both locations with fresh baked goods and help to grow a wholesale business. The offerings at their original La Jolla Boulevard cafe includes coffee drinks made with Cafe Virtuoso beans, breakfast items, crepes, and sweet and savory sandwiches. For their new casual Cass Street bistro, which spans a 1,630-square-feet and includes a sidewalk patio, the savory menu will be much expanded, reflecting the French and Asian influences of the siblings’ native Madagascar and the culinary experience of executive chef Sean Le, who attended culinary school and trained in Italy." - Candice Woo
